I recently ran a workshop for the Marion Council inviting members of the community to work alongside me in creating a sculptural work reflecting on the way the area of Marion has changed over time. Participants were encouraged to bring along a photo or small object that represented how their home, street or neighbourhood had changed over time, capturing some local living heritage. It was a fun afternoon sharing stories and valuable local insight into the area of Marion and its surrounding suburbs.
